a wedding // emily + scott

working on weddings like this, with brides like emily, is why i love what i do so much. this beautiful event seemed to come together effortlessly and full of laughter. the bride, being an artist, used her own paintings to inspire the design and feel of her wedding. this lovely wedding is featured on style me pretty today so head over there for more photos and complete vendor listing.
oh, and this has got to be one of my all time favorite bouquets!

a shoot // roaming natives

you know its going to be good when six photographers get together; they've named themselves the roaming natives and bring you this lovely inspiration shoot today. i was thrilled when they asked me to do some flowers for them and even more thrilled to have them want me to make a bouquet and hair garland of my choosing. i was inspired by the beauty of the end of summer and coming fall. most of this bouquet was forged for (with a few elements bought from a local flower farmer). i especially love how the hair garland turned out, i just snipped wild clematis plumes from the side of the highway to create this simple but stunning piece. you can see more of this shoot, along with complete vendor listing, on inspired by this today.

a wedding // emily + anton

spring time weddings are my favorite. the air is crisp, the trees are blooming and the flowers are bountiful. the wedding of emily and anton was without a doubt gorgeous. these photos by dylan and sara leave me speechless and giddy. see more from this wedding, along with complete vendor listing, on green wedding shoes.
i am sooooo into these small and understated bouquets. the maids are holding bouquets of just lily of the valley, with the bridal bouquet slightly larger and with some seasonal color added in. love love love.

give good gift

when you buy something from an artist you are buying more than just an object. you are buying hundreds of hours of experimentation and thousands of failures. you are buying years of frustration and moments of pure joy. you aren't just buying a thing - you are buying a piece of a heart, part of a soul... a small piece of someone's life. - rebekah joy plett
i had so much fun as a vendor at union/pine's give good gift holiday pop-up yesterday. i met so many wonderful and talented people. i'm feeling overjoyed to have been able to share a little piece of myself with so many.
